Vietnam seafood processor H1 net profits up 181.8 percent
Vietnam's Cadovimex Seafood Import-Export and Processing JSC (CAD) said it made a net profit of VND4.48 billion (US$261,835) in the first six months this year, up 181.8 percent from the same period last year.
CAD's revenue reached VND513.73 billion, rising 47.1 percent from the same period last year.
Between April and June, the company earned a net profit of VND2.51 billion and had revenue of VND289.53 billion, up 120.2 percent and 62.3 percent from the same period last year, respectively.
The seafood trading company plans to make a pretax profit of VND20 billion, revenue of VND1.1 trillion and a cash dividend payout equivalent to VND1,500 per share this year.
