Prices Of Wheat Increase In Pakistan

The prices of essential commodities like poultry remained largely stable in Pakistan in July. But prices of wheat increased due to short supply.

Low demand persisted at the commodity market allowing prices to remain stable, but shortage of wheat and wheat flour resurfaced in the last week of the month. The price of an 80 kg-sack of wheat was around Rs 1,090 and Rs 1,110 at the start of July. By the end of the month, it was being sold between Rs 1,190 to Rs 1,230.
