Ukraine's May N-P-K production up 69.1% in May

 

 

Ukraine's N-P-K production in May 2012 grew by 69.1% or 18,300 tonnes, compared with May 2011, to 44,800 tonnes.

 

Ukrainian News learned this from the Cherkasy state scientific and research institute of technical and economic information in the chemical industry.

 

The Sumykhimprom public joint-stock company increased production of N-P-K by 69.7%, compared with May 2011, to 44,800 tonnes.

 

In January-May 2012, the production of N-P-K went down by 12.9% or 22,500 tonnes, compared to January-May 2011, to 151,500 tonnes.

 

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in April 2012, production of N-P-K, a mineral fertiliser containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, rose by 74.7% or 19,500 tonnes, compared to April 2011, to 45,600 tonnes.

 

In 2011, production of N-P-K grew 2.6 times or by 240,600 tonnes, as compared to 2010, to 387,800 tonnes.
