Bleak outlook for vitamin E market in China
Over the past few weeks, prices continued to fall.
Trade was slow as animal producers, who were seeing poor returns, limited purchases of feed. The slow demand in feed in turn hampered the sales of vitamin E in China. Meanwhile, export orders were limited even though renminbi soften recently.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin E by major producers fell to around RMB95/kg.
The possibility of vitamin E market firming up during August is low with both domestic and overseas demands slack.
