Cautious buying slows sales of choline chloride in China
Prices continued to move lower over the past weeks.
Overall demand for aqua feed slowed as coastal regions were disrupted by stormy weather. With ample supplies in stock, feed millers reduced procurements while demand was limited.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong were softer at around RMB4,700/tonne.
Choline chloride prices, which have dropped considerably by around 5% since mid-June, will be more resistant to downward pressure in the coming period.
