Kuwait bans poultry imports from Spain, Russia
Kuwait has suspended poultry imports from Spain and Russia after bird flu cases were reported in the two countries, according to state news agency KUNA on Thursday (Jul 30).
At the same time, Kuwait has lifted a ban on poultry imports from France and Canada, which are now free from bird flu.
In February, Kuwait suspended French and Canadian poultry imports after the discovery of bird flu cases in the two countries.
