Saudi Arabia's Q2 barley imports up by 25 percent on-year
Imports of barley by Saudi Arabia in the second quarter of calendar year 2007 (April- June) has increased by 25 percent or 1,732,000 tonnes from the same period a year earlier.
Report from the US Department of Agriculture states Ukraine was the biggest supplier with 1,211 tonnes or seventy percent of the total imports, followed by Australia with 324 tonnes or 19 percent; Russia, 144 tonnes and Estonia by 53 tonnes.
