Low fishmeal supply from the fishing ban at Andaman gulf closing pushed price higher to THB31.80/kg (US$1.02/kg), from THB 30.30/kg (US$0.974/kg) last week. The government's paddy rice auction programme is the main reason for the easing of prices for all rice by-products.
