CHS Inc. acquires premix-making ability with purchase of Agpro

The animal nutrition division of CHS has purchased Agpro Corporation, the companies announced July 28.

The acquisition allows CHS to manufacture its own premixes, according to Rod Paulson, CHS nutrition general manager., adding that Agpro and CHS have complementary strengths

Agpro specializes in feed premixes, base mixes and minerals. It serves customers including farmers, ranchers, feed mills and a dealer network.

CHS is a US grain marketing co-operative with businesses in oilseed processing and energy as well.
