China resumes meat exports to Saudi Arabia
China has announced that Saudi Arabia is lifting its ban on China's beef, mutton and poultry exports.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine together with the Saudi Arabian Commerce and Industry Ministry announced Saudi Arabia is confident of the safety of Chinese-processed food.
Saudi authorities had inspected sanitation management systems for beef, mutton and poultry meat in Beijing Municipality, Hebei, Jilin and Hunan Provinces and other parts of China before they reached the decision to lift the ban.
