Pancosma sets sight on doubling turnover by 2020

Swiss feed additives manufacturer Pancosma SA, which recently celebrated its 65 years in the animal nutrition field, revealed its target to double its turnover by 2020, based on its average annual growth rate of 8%.

 

Latest figures show Pancosma is hitting a turnover of €55 million (US$73.07 million) and its seven ranges of additives are integrated in more than 60 millions tonnes of feed worldwide.

 

The sales objectives of the company are realised for 40%, by 43 selected distributors all around the world.

 

"Our ideal aim is to have one distributor per country who is very familiar with the Pancosma portfolio, and for whom to have success with our products is vital" comments Mr. Kofel. 

 

At its recent 65th anniversary event, Pancosma provided an update on each range of products together with the last research findings about selenium and sweetening products. Speakers included Prof Steve Leeson from the department of Animal and Poultry Science, University of Guelph, Canada; Prof Jerry Spears, Professor at North Carolina State University; Prof Sergio Calsamiglia from the University of Barcelona, Spain; and Prof James Pettigrew from the University of Illinois, USA.
