Rainstorm hits Hunan Province's livestock industry

A heavy rainstorm in central China's Hunan Province last week has caused huge losses to the province's livestock sector.

The rainstorm killed more than four people, and killed more than 10,000 head of livestock and 100,000 head of poultry.

Economic losses from the rainstorm were placed at a minimum of US$35 million.
