China fishmeal imports up 40.6 percent in June
China imported 194,678 tonnes of fishmeal in June 2005, up 40.6 percent from the previous month, and a 107.2 percent year-on-year increase.
The June imports came mostly from:
Peru: 128,591 tonnes;
Chile: 53,326 tonnes;
Argentina: 3,970 tonnes.
From January to June 2005, China's fishmeal imports totalled 721,040 tonnes.
