South Korean importer buys 80,000 tonnes corn via tender
The Korea Corn Processing Association has bought 80,000 tonnes of corn in a tender concluded Thursday (July 26), an association official said.
The first shipment of 25,000 tonnes Chinese corn will be supplied by trading house Wilmar at US$236.65/tonne. It is expected to arrive in South Korea on September 30.
The second shipment of 55,000 tonnes of US or South American corn will be supplied by trading house Cargill at US$278.50/tonne, and is scheduled to arrive on October 30.
