China Import 5,910 MT of Lysine in June 2004


Imports


According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported a total of 5,910 metric tons of lysine in June 2004, up by 604 metric tons from May.


For the first half of this year from January to June, China's accumulative lysine imports amounted to 230,949 metric tons, a fall of 6,471 metric tons compared with the same period last year.


Exports


China exported a total of 2,547 metric tons of lysine in June 2004.


From January to June 2004, China's accumulative lysine exports totaled 13,699 metric tons, with most of its lysine products exported to Europe, USA and Canada.
