Weak trend prevails in China calcium phosphate market
Prices remained soft to lower during the period in review.
The rainy weather in Sichuan disrupted phosphate rock mining leading to reduced supplies of raw ingredients for calcium phosphate production. Nonetheless, as the demand for poultry feed showed little improvement, feed millers limited the purchases of calcium phosphate, hence exerting pressure on the market despite lower output.
With raw ingredients limited, lower output of calcium phosphate will lend support to the market.
