Australian cattle trade volume to Indonesia begins small

Although Australian cattle imports to Indonesia are unlikely to revert to previous volume currently, Australian Agricultural Co. (AAC.AU) is cooperating with the sector and the authority to make sure full trade resumes as soon as possible, according to Chief Executive David Farley on Monday (Jul 25).

Several exporters are experiencing difficulties to meet stricter regulations that include the trade and repair of a transport scheme that has imploded, Farley added.

Due to new stringent protocols, the process of restarting trade is hindered as it requires many people to do a huge amount of work within a short time, Farley said.
