Chilean beef exports soar for January to May 2005
 

Chilean beef export sales from January to May 2005 surged 350 percent year-on-year, reaching US$27 million from US$6 million.

Mexico, Japan and the UK were the main importers.

Industry reports forcast Chilean beef exports to grow six to nine percent annually.
