Saudi's Al-Watania Poultry reduces prices
Following the Royal Order to increase feed subsidies by 50% to reduce meat prices, Saudi Arabia-based Al-Watania Poultry has given orders to use the whole subsidy amount to benefit consumers and reduce prices of Al-Watania Poultry's products.
As Al-Watania Poultry recognises its obligation toward citizens and their causes, it has decided to reduce the price of its products, said Sulaiman Abdul Aziz Al-Rajhi, Chairman of Al-Watania Poultry's Board of Directors.
In his order issued Wednesday (Jul 20), King Abdullah thanked honest businessmen but warned that the government is determined to deal with merchants who exploit the people.
