Novus International, Inc., a leader in animal health and nutrition programs, announces the appointment of Dr. Ramersh Chander Sikka as Country Director for India.

Dr. Sikka brings over 30 years of experience in the agricultural industry to this newly created position and will be responsible for the development of Novus business in the India livestock sector.

Dr. Sikka worked for Intervet India Pvt. Ltd. as General Manager, International Business (Export) & Company Representative (Intervet International BV. Sri Lanka). He graduated from College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Ranchi in 1977 and had worked with Intervet since 1987.

Novus views India as a strategic country in the Asia-Pacific region and the development plans Novus has in India represent the company's commitment to becoming an integral part of the Indian livestock and companion animals sector, Dr. Sikka said.
