Australia's live cattle exports to Indonesia increases for third year
Australia's live cattle exports to Indonesia have been increasing for three consecutive years, according to data released Monday (Jul 24) from the Indonesian consulate office in Australia.
The data showed that Australia's cow exports to Indonesia in 2005 increased 17 percent to 186,000 heads of cattle over 2004.
Of the total cow exports to Indonesia in 2005, almost 99 percent came from the Australia's Northern Territory cattle farming industry.
Most exports are destined for the Lampung and East Java provinces.
