Lysine prices continue to slide in China
Lysine prices moved lower during the week ending July 23.
Lysine producers in China were fighting hard to clear bloating inventories with supplies in excess and demand slack.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine slid to RMB10-10.40/kg.
Demand for lysine is unlikely to firm up with soymeal prices trending down and hog farming making paltry profits at best.
