China's methionine imports down in June
China's methionine imports registered 6,715.88 tonnes in June, down by about 500 tonnes from May.
Average import price in June was US$3.26/kg, down by US$0.10/kg compared with the previous month.
Japan (3,082.88 tonnes), Belgium (2,775.50 tonnes) and France (640 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during June.
