Rosendale Dairy has begun an expansion project despite the current bleak conditions in the dairy market.

The new free-stall barn addition and rotary milking parlour will allow the dairy to increase its herd by 4,000 cows, bringing the total milk animals up to 8,000.

While the dairy economy is tough, the dairy is prepared to get through it just fine.

The project is expected to complete in the next four to six months.
