Azerbaijan's H1 meat imports dip

In January-June, import of meat and meat products in Azerbaijan has dropped 4.6% compared to the same period of 2009, the country's state customs committee said.

Azerbaijan imported 10,022 tonnes of meat and meat products worth US$9.31 million during the first quarter, it said.

In 2009 the country imported 18,379 tonnes of meat and meat products amounting to US$14.07 million which is 75.7% of the import in 2008.
