Canadian plastics producer acquires Agriprocessors
The sale of the Iowa-based Agriprocessors kosher slaughterhouse has been approved by a bankruptcy judge, reports state.
Paul J. Kilburg, the bankruptcy judge made the sale to SHF Industries official. SHF Industries is a company created by Canadian plastics manufacturer Hershey Friedman and Daniel Hirsch.
It is reported that the plant will still produce kosher meat, and currently has 100 full time employees.
