Ukraine's grain exports hit 240,000 tonnes in current marketing season
During the initial 20 days of the present marketing season, Ukraine exported 240,000 tonnes of grain of the new harvest, according to Ukrainian Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk on Wednesday (Jul 20).
"Over the first 20 days of the new marketing year, we exported 240,000 tonnes of grain of the new harvest, which means that dynamics of exports are not falling, and they are currently proceeding according to schedule, and even better than last year," he said.
Meanwhile, Ukraine exported 12 million tonnes of grain crops during the 2010/11 marketing year from July 2010 to June 2011.
