Russian meat output up 1.5 percent in Jan-Jun
Russia's meat and meat product output rose 1.5 percent on-year in January-June, the Federal State Statistics Service reported Monday (Jul 20).
Pork output rose 15 percent on-year, poultry output rose 11.3 percent and beef output fell 12.9 percent in the period.
No absolute figures were provided.
In 2008, Russia's meat and meat product output rose 5.5 percent on-year, the statistics service said earlier.
