Cautious buying slows sales of choline chloride in China
Prices reduced during the period in review.
Choline chloride producers reported that demand was slack as feed millers were reluctant to stockpile inventories with prices higher by over 10% compared with previous months.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong were at RMB4,800-4,850/tonne.
Typhoon Suli is expected to decimate the demand for aqua feed in the south in the coming period as aquaculture farming is disrupted. This will continue to keep prices of choline chloride soft while buyers stay prudent.
