Ukraine's Ahrotrade to ship 800,000 tonnes grain in 2012-13
Ahrotrade's General Director Vsevolod Kozhemiako announced at a press conference that the company intends to export 800,000 tonnes of grain in the 2012-13 marketing year.
"This year, (we) will export 800,000 tonnes. This is more than the previous year by approximately 100,000 tonnes," he said.
According Kozhemiako, the main crops that the company exports are corn, wheat, barley, sunflower seeds, and soy. He added that the company's exports focus on countries in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North Africa.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ahrotrade has increased the area of land it cultivates by 1,500 hectares or 3.3% to 46,500 hectares.
