UK feed firm to sponsor British Pig and Poultry Fair next year
Feed specialist ABN will be the major sponsor of the 2008 British Pig and Poultry Fair to be held 13-14 May at Stoneleigh Park.
Managing director Alan Murphy said the company is delighted to take a leading role with the country's key technical event
The agreement highlighted ABN's position as an industry leader, and would demonstrate its capability as a progressive, forward-thinking and efficient business, he added.
The British Pig and Poultry fair takes place every second year, bringing together over 250 leading suppliers and 8,000 producers and industry professionals.
For 2008, a new seminar would focus on developing the exhibitor base to move further up the food chain. Farmers looking to process and market their own produce could also benefit from the fair.
The event organizers would be innovative and commercial while aiming to meet the needs of a fast-changing industry, said event manager, Alice Bell. Support from exhibitors and bookings are coming in "thick and fast", she added.
