Bulgaria sees no need to import wheat
The Bulgarian government said that the country had enough wheat supplies from the previous year and did not need to import.
By July 1, the grain reserve would total about 300,000-350,000 tonnes and would be enough to meet market demand until the new harvest.
The government had also reported that despite about 11,854 hectares of wheat destroyed by recent heavy rains, there was no danger of a grain crisis.
