Swiss based feedmill first in Sri Lanka to be awarded ISO22000:2005

Gold Coin Feedmills (CGFL) in Sri Lanka has become the first feed mill in the country awarded with the ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management Systems.

GCFL is a Swiss-based company that manufactures compound and concentrated poultry feed for the local market. The company commands a 60 percent market share in the broiler industry.

It also manufacture cattle and swine feeds.

Dr. A.R.L. Wijesekara, Chairman of Sri Lanka Standards Institution said that standards have advanced such that without a ISO 22000, nothing can be exported from the country.
