Georgia resumes buying of Russian wheat
After Russia abolished restrictions on wheat exports, Georgian importers have resumed negotiations on the shipment of Russian wheat to their country.
The head of the Georgian Wheat Growers Association Levan Silagava told media that the agreement on the import of 30,000 tonnes of wheat has been formalised with Russia since July.
The first ship with Russian wheat has already entered the port of Poti.
