Ukraine's International Seafood Group begins fish exports to Moldova

Kyiv-based International Seafood Group, a major importer and producer of fish and seafood, has started exporting fish and fish products to Moldova.

For a start, smaller batches have already shipped to Moldova, said International Seafood Group Director Oleh Pukha in a statement.

International Seafood Group plans to export products under the trademarks Flagman and Flotilla: the range of exported products comprises frozen, smoked, salted fish, red caviar, semi preserved foods, and fish dishes.

Pukha believes that currently, the Ukrainian fish and seafood market has not yet exhausted its potential nor reached its maximum capacity, so International Seafood Group will continue to cooperate with large trading networks, supply fish products to line retail chains and distribute products via the horeca (hotels, restaurants and catering services) channel.

International Seafood Group owns a fish and seafood processing factory with the capacity of 456,000 tonnes a year. The company manufactures and distributes products on its own.
