Mexico lifts ban on wheat imports from three US states

Mexico has lifted a nine-year ban on wheat imports from the US states of California, Arizona and New Mexico.

The ban was originally implemented when Karnal bunt fungus was found in limited areas within those states.

Mexico has become the second largest market for US wheat exports in recent years.
