Kazakhstan exports 8.3 million tonnes of grain in 2009-2010 marketing year

 
 

Kazakhstan in the 2009-2010 marketing year exported 8.3 million tonnes of grain, said Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev.

 

"Marketing year has come to an end. We exported 8.3 million tonnes of grain and flour," A. Evniev informed. He noted, "This figure exceeds last year's level by 36%."

 

"Export routes were traditional. We consider that it is a good indicator for this year," he said. He also informed that the grain surplus since the last crop amounts to 8.6 million tonnes.
