Brazil's soy farmers have sold 76 percent of their soy crop as of July 10, according to agricultural consultancy Celeres.

Celeres said Monday sales figures as of July 10 were slightly below the five-year average of 77 percent and up just one percent from its previous research July 3.

The fall in international soy prices kept trade slow last week, according to Celeres.

In Mato Grosso, Brazil's number one soy producing state, farmers sold 92 percent of their beans as of July 10, steady from the previous week.

In Parana, the number two soy producing state, farmers sold 59 percent as of July 10 compared to 57 percent the week before.

In Rio Grande do Sul, the number three soy producing state, soy sales remain frozen at 52 percent compared to the previous week.

Brazil's soy farmers have completed their soy harvest. Brazil is the world's number two soy producer, behind the US.
