India cancels wheat exports by three state-run firms
India's federal government has cancelled exports of wheat through three state-run firms, effective immediately, according to a statement published Monday (Jul 13) on the Website of Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
The government had earlier allowed the export of 900,000 tonnes of wheat up to March 31, 2010, through three state run firms - MMTC Ltd., PEC Ltd. and STC Ltd.
