French poultry processor Moy Park to double production

 

 

Moy Park, a French processor of poultry products for the foodservice and restaurant industry, plans to invest EUR15 million over the next two years to boost production to 40,000 tonnes a year.

 

The company has seen sales falling 18 percent during the first six months of the year due to bird flu.

 

The company produces 28,400 tonnes of further processed product, of which 70 percent is exported.

 

Moy Park, part of the US-based OSI Group, expects the investment to help double production and modify its product range.
