The European Union grain management committee Thursday granted 236,000 tonnes of subsidised wheat from the free-market in its weekly tender Thursday (Jul 13), EU figures show.
The wheat was granted with a maximum refund of EUR1.99/tonne.
Traders had issued a total of 43 bids for a combined total 935,000 tonnes of export licenses for refunds between EUR1.00/tonne and EUR6.00/tonne.
The only bid received to export free-market barley was rejected.
