Zalai Baromfifeldolgozó obtains job formation grant
Hungarian poultry farm company Zalai Baromfifeldolgozó signed an agreement on Tuesday (Jul 12) to get a HUF224 million (US$1.17 million) government grant to generate 120 job postings at its base in Pacsa.
Zalai Baromfifeldolgozó will make 120 new hires by next February, but wants to bring the number of staff to about 200 eventually, said managing director Tibor Bedő. The new hires will work at a HUF1.5 billion (US$7.8 million) plant to be put into operation in October, he added.
Zalai Baromfifeldolgozó won a HUF401 million (US$2.08 million) grant for the expansion on top of the HUF224 million (US$1.17 million) in job-creation support.
The company aims to bring its annual processing capacity to 2.5 million chickens and 800,000 turkeys.
Zalai Baromfifeldolgozó was established by 90 poultry farmers and two feed mixers.
