China's corn export down in June

 
 

China exported 9,421 tonnes of corn in June, down 41.46% from 16,122 tonnes in May, according to the General Administration of Customs.

 

Corn export from January to June was 80,391 tonnes, up 34.7% from the year-ago period.

 

Meanwhile, China imported 6.2 million tonnes of soy in June, up 41.87% from May, statistics by the General Administration of Customs show.

 

The country's soy imports from January to June amounted to 25.8 million tonnes, an increase of 16.8% from the same period last year.
