China's methionine imports fall in May
China's methionine imports registered 6,882.47 tonnes in May, down by 2,318.7 tonnes from April.
Average import price in May was US$4.39/kg, lower by US$0.04/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (2,940 tonnes), Japan (2,401.47 tonnes) and France (1,268.5 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during May.
