China H1 soy imports at 22.09 million tonnes, up 28 percent on-year
China's soy imports in the first half of this year rose 28 percent on year to 22.09 million tonnes, the General Administration of Customs said on its Web site Friday (July 10).
Imports in June alone totalled 4.71 million tonnes, it said, without giving the on-year change.
The country also exported 59,698 tonnes of corn in the first half, down 60 percent on year, according to the preliminary trade data.
Exports in June totalled 30,884 tonnes, it said.
