Grand Parent Poultry inaugurates new breeder hatchery with Hubbard SAS

Grand Parent Poultry (Pvt) Ltd (GPP) May 11, 2007, held a commemoration ceremony in collaboration with Hubbard SAS (France) to mark GPP's successful completion of 15 years as a leading producer of broiler parent stock in Pakistan. The event also inaugurated one of the world's largest breeder hatcheries equipped with the latest machinery.

 

In his inaugural speech, French ambassador His Excellency Regis de Belenet commended the collaboration between Hubbard and GPP, and applauded the new hatchery's establishment.

 

Abdul Basit of GPP highlighted the support of Pakistan's poultry industry and his group's efforts to deliver to the industry's expectations.

 

Two seminars were held on this occasion. Dr Muhammad Sadiq, CEO of SB Poultry, chaired the seminar held at Islamabad which was well attended by members of the poultry industry, including poultry parent stock and broiler farmers, dealers, leading businessmen, executives and bankers.

 

Shahid Hassan Sheikh, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, chaired the seminar at Lahore, which also saw good response from members of the poultry industry, including Tahir Zaidi, Chairman of the Pakistan Poultry Association; Shahid Dar, Chairman of Pakistan Poultry Association Punjab Zone; Dr F.M. Sabir, CEO of Sabir's Poultry; as well as leading businessmen, executives and bankers.
