Vietnam's Nam Dinh province prepares poultry vaccination against bird flu

Vietnam's Nam Dinh province has set up a thousand-strong taskforce to conduct a trial vaccination of poultry against bird flu.

The province's poultry stock was estimated at 4.18 million, including 1.17 million ducks. Over 1,880 people would participate directly in the vaccination, which would be conducted in three phases during August and September this year, and January next year.

An Giang province would also be conducting the trial vaccination.
