China's fishmeal imports fall in May

China's fishmeal imports in May decreased 4.72% to 100,854 tonnes, down 4,991 tonnes from April.

Peru (45,618 tonnes), Chile (16,901 tonnes), and the US (14,007 tonnes) were the main exporters of fishmeal to China during May.

China's total imports of fishmeal for the period of January-May 2011 are 346,385 tonnes.
