Taiwan Sugar Corp buys US corn, soybeans in tender
Taiwan Sugar Corporation bought 29,000 metric tonnes of US corn and 16,000 tonnes of US soybeans from trading house Columbia Grains in a tender concluded Wednesday (July 11), said a trader in Taipei.
The corn will be supplied at US$239.07/tonne and soybeans at US$391.48/tonne.
Both the corn and soybean shipments are expected to arrive in Taiwan between August 1 to 15 if shipped from the US Gulf, while it could arrive between August 15 to 30 if shipped from the Pacific Northwest.
