Russia's poultry imports rise 32.3 percent from January to May 2005

Russia's poultry imports registered a 32.3 percent year-on-year increase from January to May this year. According to official reports, poultry imported outside the CIS totalled 442,300 tonnes worth US$272.8 million.

Meanwhile, Russia's meat imports totalled 296,100 tonnes worth US$414.6 million for the first five months of this year.
